My journey to opening this café began with a simple belief: good food, warm hospitality, and fair prices should be available to everyone. At 60+, when many people expect life to slow down, I felt a strong calling to begin something meaningful—something that brings people together and gives back to the community that has given me so much. That is how this café in Namma Tumkuru came to life, powered by my partnership with the trusted Teatime brand.

I chose the Teatime franchise because it reflects my own values—consistent quality, great taste, and affordability. From a perfectly brewed cup of tea or coffee to fresh, tasty snacks, every item we serve is prepared with care. My intention has always been clear: to offer food and drinks that are satisfying, hygienic, and economical, so that students, working professionals, families, and senior citizens alike can all feel at home here.

One of my deepest motivations is to create employment opportunities for people who truly need them. I strongly believe that dignity comes with work, and by providing training and stable jobs, I hope to support individuals and families in building a better future. Every smile behind the counter and every cup served carries that shared effort and hope.

While my values are rooted in experience, my approach looks toward the future. I am committed to running this café with the help of technology—using modern systems for billing, inventory, quality control, and customer feedback. This allows us to be efficient, transparent, and consistent, while also giving customers a smooth and pleasant experience. Age, I believe, should never be a barrier to learning or innovation.
